Apple’s Move Towards More Repairable iPhones

Apple Is Making It Slightly Easier to Repair Your iPhone
Apple has announced that it will be making some changes to allow users to repair their own iPhones more easily. This comes after years of criticism from consumers and independent repair shops who have long complained about the difficulty of fixing Apple products.
One of the changes Apple is making is to provide access to genuine Apple parts, tools, and repair manuals to independent repair shops. This means that users who prefer not to go to an authorized Apple repair center will now have more options when it comes to fixing their devices.
Additionally, Apple will be offering a new Self Service Repair program that will allow customers to purchase genuine Apple parts and tools directly from the company. This program is expected to launch in early 2022 and will give users the ability to repair their own iPhones without voiding their warranty.
While these changes may not completely solve the issue of repairability, they are a step in the right direction towards making it easier for users to fix their own devices. Hopefully, this move will encourage other tech companies to follow suit and prioritize repairability in their products as well.
